Summer Essence

“Summer Essence” glows with the golden essence of summer and delicacy of the petals of this frangipani.. The rich glow of yellow at the flowers centres are bought to life with the fine brush stokes further enhancing the gentle petal shape. Yellow and deep golden colours are used to depict the blushing centre of the flower. This is further enhanced by the subtle touch of blue on the petals where the frangipani has caught the light reflected from its surroundings. This is part of a series of paintings utilising the dark background for added effect.   Yellow and white of the petals help bring the smell of summer to your nostrils
